I sometimes feel annoyed at these so- called politicians who run the government. We elect them so that they can make a difference, or atleast do their jobs properly. But to what avail? They arent doing their jobs properly. The front page article on the HT 24th feb issue proves it. Of all , people are dying of starvation...yes starvation!! We are developing then are we, Mr. Prime minister?? So corrupt!! And as an icing on the cake , they plainly deny their knowledge about it! Is the government all about getting your pockets filled? is their no humanity left? wudnt it have been better then to remain under the british rule , which could have atleast ensured us some real development?? People out there have got nothing to eat, and they dont know about it? what, then gives them the right to remain in power?? We need able and professional people to handle these tasks , not the stupid, illiterate ones who are barely qualified to teach children of kindergarten!! We should have examinations , both written and oral , for people to even stand in elections. I dont know about others, but i definitely want to reform the idiotic system.

The Empyrean Agony

Once upon a time the sky,
Broke nto a wail so high,
That a wanderer passing by,
Stopped to ask the reason why..

"Just go away and let me moan",
The sky replied in a haunted tone,
"You've got no errand here,
So move along and break that stare."

The reluctant traveller querried again,
To know the reason of his pain,
This time the sky replied in his baritone,
"The reason is that I am all alone."

"Although I have a great altitude,
But this forces me to live in solitude.
Although I can see everything,
Yet I am stagnant so I can do nothing."

"I've seen the sun rise and set,
But it's a pity we have never met.
It's great to see clouds below,
But they aren't everlasting as they have to blow."

"I look at the stars twinkling above,
Thinking that when will I encounter true love.
I see people moving below,
But I have ne'er ever said them hello!"

Although the sky had spoken ghastly,
Yet the wanderer replied calmly,
"Your problem is your attitude,
Which reflects back your altitude."

"You always try to haunt and bellow,
Instead you should try to become mellow..."
